Valk Genie cruiser - a boat with a beautiful sailing storyThis 1991 Valk Genie cruiser is more than just a motor yacht. It is a ship with character, history, and many wonderful sailing stories. The boat was built for the owner of the Valk shipyard in Franeker and has had quite a bit of water under its keel since then.
The current owner is the third owner. Together with the current owners, the ship has made wonderful voyages, as far as Spain and Scandinavia. That says a lot about the pleasure of sailing and the possibilities this cruiser offers.
With its steel hull, length of approximately 10.50 meters, and a 106 hp Vetus Deutz diesel engine, this is a complete base for delightful boat trips and extended holidays. On board, you will find a saloon, galley, forward and aft cabins, and a wet cell, among other amenities. There are two fixed berths and two extra berths available.
The ship is technically complete, but deserves some attention in a few areas. For instance, the paintwork could use a refresh and some windows suffer from condensation. A great opportunity for someone who wants to restore the boat entirely to their own wishes.
