Grand Craft Luxury Sport Runabout 24' (1995) - The Golden Age of Mahogany Runabouts

Some boats are more than just vessels; they tell a story of an era. This Grand Craft revives the era of the great mahogany runabouts, those of the American lakes and the Riviera from the 1920s to 1950s.

Grand Craft was founded in 1979 in Holland, Michigan, on the shores of Lake Michigan. The shipyard specialized in these Chris-Craft-inspired runabouts, built entirely by hand by master boat builders, with each boat requiring many months of work. It took over part of the former Chris-Craft workshops in Holland in 2016.

This 1995 Luxury Sport Runabout exemplifies the finest: a hull of African mahogany with deep reflections, low and taut lines, and finishes worthy of a work of art. Under the hood, a Chrysler 360 V8 engine of 270 hp with only 650 hours delivers the character and sonority expected of a legendary runabout.

This is the boat for remarkable arrivals at the dock, lazy afternoons along the coast, and moorings where everyone turns to look. With its shallow draft of 60 cm, it glides into coves. It accommodates up to 10 people, and its forward and aft sun lounges invite swimming.
