In 2020/21, the exterior was almost completely stripped bare and repainted with a primer and 7 coats of varnish, the woodwork was also completely repainted. The teak on the cabin roof was completely removed in 2021/22 and the steel under the teak was completely de-rusted and rebuilt in a new 2 component paint system. Then the original teak deck was reinstalled so that it can last at least 20 years again. The gunwale is equipped with a stainless steel carpet pad and had no problems so it could remain in place. However, all woodwork was stripped bare and repainted with sufficient layer thickness. The engine also had a major service: the fuel tank was cleaned and all hoses and rubbers were renewed.
